Bambinex Washable Diapers for Babies / Kids Description
The ecological and cost-effective choice
Washable diapers are becoming increasingly more successful thanks to their many advantages. These diapers will save you over 600 € per child, taking into account the price of washing powder. The ecological impact is equally substantial. Each child uses around 6,500 diapers, which end up as household waste and take 500 years to decompose. Bambinex diapers can be used for years on end without losing any of their efficacy, even if you have several children.
Designed to respect the delicate skin of your baby and his comfort
Disposable baby nappies often contain products that may irritate baby's skin or cause allergies.
The washable Bambinex diapers are made from bamboo fibres, with the bamboo crops grown without pesticides nor fertilisers. As a material, bamboo comes with numerous benefits. It is :
- Antibacterial and antiallergic;
- Exceptionally soft;
- More absorbent than cotton (as used in disposable diapers);
- Retains its full absorption capacity even after many washes. If anything, its absorption capacity only increases.
Bambinex diapers are soft, comfortable and super-absorbent. The breathing multi-layered structure lets the air through but traps the moisture. This ensures the perfect temperature inside the diaper and prevents baby's private parts from getting irritated.
The diaper and its accessories
The washable diapers are made up of several sections and accessories. Working outside to inside, a fitted diaper consists of :
- A protective wrap;
- A washable absorbent diaper;
- A washable insert;
- An absorbent "stay-dry" lining;
- Biodegradable protective and absorbent paper.
1. The protective wrap
The protective wrap makes up an impermeable barrier that traps the moisture once the diaper has been soiled. The wrap comes in a colourful pattern that brightens up the diaper.
2. The washable diaper
This is the actual nappy.
3. The washable insert
It is the most absorbent part of the diaper and covers the critical areas. It is removable.
4. The absorbent "stay-dry" lining
The lining is a washable inlay film in microfibre that absorbs the moisture and keeps babies bottom dry.
It is indispensable if you are treating baby's bottom with diaper cream, oil, talcum powder, etc. to avoid clogging up the diaper.
5. The Biodegradable protective and absorbent paper
The protective paper gathers the stools and as such acts to protect the washable diaper.
