Bambinex Washable Insert Description

An extra absorbent layer

The Bambinex washable insert is inserted into a washable diaper for adults, which will increase the diaper's absorption capacity by half. It is made from polyester so it feels soft on the skin.

The diaper and its accessories

Bambinex washable diapers for adults are all-in-one pads for moderate incontinence. Adding a washable insert increases the absorption of the diaper, making the diaper suitable for heavy incontinence.

The washable diapers are made up of several sections and accessories. Working outside to inside, a fitted diaper consists of :

1. A washable absorbent diaper;
2. A washable insert;
3. An absorbent "stay-dry" lining;
4. Biodegradable protective and absorbent paper.

The lining is a washable inlay film in microfibre that absorbs the moisture and keeps babies bottom dry.

4. The Biodegradable protective and absorbent paper

The protective paper gathers the stools and as such acts to protect the washable diaper.

Bambinex Washable Insert Usage

First use

Before using the washable Bambinex Inserts, you MUST wash and dry it at least three times. The news inserts are covered in a very thin layer of residual was and oil, which are necessary as part of the processing procedures during production. These need to be removed to open up the fibres and to activate the absorption capacity de the diaper.

Storage

We recommend keeping the soiled insert in a bucket with a lid or in a leakproof Bambinex bag for 2 to 3 days before putting them in the washing machine.

Washing and maintenance

How to fit

The reusable Bambinex diapers are fitted like a traditional diaper, albeit with the following differences :

• Place the washable diaper;
• Fasten the insert on the inside of the washable diaper;
• Put in an absorbent liner. Fold in two for men;
• Put in a sheet of protective and absorbent paper;
• Close and fasten the washable diaper;
